digg: State of the Blogosphere- 70% of blog-pings are from spammers

This digg article caught my eye. Not because my blog is spam, because it isn’t. Sure sometimes I put links in posts that are un-needed, but in general I try to keep my blog about the randomness of my life. What is fun to me, surely has to be fun to other people.

Anyway, I personally think SPAM rules the internet, and that is the cold truth. No matter how hard we try to get rid of it, it’ll always exist.

Technorati’s David Sifry has published his latest installment in his quarterly series, “State of the Blogosphere.” This quarter’s news: Technorati is tracking 100 times more blogs than it was three years ago, and the blogosphere is doubling every 200 days, and 70 percent of the pings Technorati receives comes from spam-blog

Boredom Stops Here

I have this great new domain boredomstopshere.com which I just got for $3. I would be really happy if you went to it. Right now it is just parked, but most of the links it is getting are pretty fitting. There may be something that interests you.

Anyways, I think the site has really good potential. However, I’d love to hear ideas for what to put up on this site if I ever decide to develop it. So, to the oh so few people who come to my site, please give me your input! Thank you.

WARNING: Some of the links on the site are probably NSFW

I also have a few other domains, you can look at my full portfolio, here

Movie Review: Pure

IMDB Link

This movie is an independent film that came out of the United Kingdom. You might be wondering why I watched it? The reason is, because I bought it. Why? Without getting to detailed, the answer is because Keira Knightley is in it. It was one of her earlier movies and it was just released on DVD very recently.

I give it 3 out 5 stars. The movie is about a young boy who’s father has died. Unable to cope with it, his mother has become a Heroin addict. The boy tries desperately to understand his mother. He even tries to help her quit. The boy befriends a waitress (Keira Knightley) who is also on Heroin, but not yet as bad as his mother. I don’t want to tell you what happens but let’s just say that I thought the ending was predictable.

Finally, I must say, I am so envious of Harry Eden, the actor who plays the little boy. Watch the movie to find out why.
