Honda Aircraft Co. coming to North Carolina.

I don’t know how many of you have heard this story, but Honda is getting into the airplane business. The recently announced it on their website. The first Jet is naturally called ‘HondaJet’ and is suppose to be mass produced within 4 years (2010). Even crazier? The official subsidiary company will be based in the good ‘ole state of North Carolina.

The original article from ibtimes.com is quoted below:

Honda Motor Co. has set up a subsidiary in the U.S. to oversee the sales promotion, production and further development of its small jet that it debuted last year, the Japanese automaker said Tuesday.

Honda Aircraft Co. will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina, where the prototype HondaJet was assembled, the Tokyo-based company said in a statement.

The company will begin taking orders for the jet this fall, targeting delivery of the first mass produced HondaJet in 2010, it said. The company will develop the production version of the jet and carry out marketing. It will also manage Honda’s new alliance with Piper Aircraft Inc., with which it is working together on sales and service, it said.

Tokyo-based Honda, a car maker that produces the Accord and Civic, has been working for 20 years on aviation research and has long had the ambition of making jets.

Last month, it announced a business alliance with Piper Aircraft and said it will begin accepting sales orders this fall for the jet.

Honda said the jet has several innovations that allows for fuel efficiency, larger cabin and luggage space and higher a cruising speed than comparable aircraft.

Piper Aircraft, headquartered in Vero Beach, Florida, has produced more than 144,000 aircraft and developed more than 180 different models in its 70-year history.

P.S. - this is the first article in my new ‘news’ category which is news that I find interesting.

NameDrive disapoints me

So,I just sent NameDrive a little e-mail asking them why they suspended my account. I am suspecting that they did it because my affiliate got suspended as well. Hopefully I will be able to talk them into letting me back on, as I did not have really any clicks at all so I highly doubt they’ll tell me that I had fraudulent clicks. Nevertheless, NameDrive disappoints me, and I may goto Sedo.com to host some of my domains, but I do not know now. I may have wasted money on boredomstopshere.com. For right now it is forwarding to this very page.
