New found time (without EVE)

It’s amazing how without EVE online, I suddenly have so much time. What am I doing with it? Working on the site of course! I’ve added some pretty ad-links at the bottom of the site now, fixed un-ordered lists in posts, separated the footer and sidebar into separate files within the green-river theme, and loads of other little mods to my site. I did some wordpress plugin hunting, and even made a post about an awesome-google-analytics-plugin-for-wordpress that I installed.

I’ve worked a bunch on my restaurant selector in the past few days as well. Soon, I will convert it over to my own database, implement user logins and many other new features which should have been in it a long time ago.

Lastly, I have made a decision that I will actually change my site theme drastically soon, in that I am going to make a new header and background. I’m thinking about using the keira knightley background I talked about in this post in it (very faint though). I’ll keep you posted on this.

  1. You should definately make a Keira theme for wordpress. It would be so unique. If you offered the download you might get a ton of traffic as well.

EDIT by admin: You spelled Keira wrong. Never do that again!

  2. [...] Recently, my friend Ryan made a post about separating comment in trackbacks. He also suggested to me that I impliment it on my own site. I did not, because I had not done any trackbacks within my posts, or at least none that I noticed. However, that all changed with my new-found-time-without-eve post, so I’ve just implimented this little fix. Just like Ryan, I used the easy tutorial located at Binary Moon. I suggest this for anyone who finds the trackbacks showing up as comments to be annoying. [...]

  3. [...] The biggest thing of course is the last one. The background is back! The next big update to the look of the site will come when I get a chance to create a pirates of the caribbean and keira knightley insprired background for the green river theme, which I talked about doing in several earlier posts (here and here).
