My new place needs a Pool table
My new place needs a lot of things, but a great addition, if my roommate would agree with it, and if we could find a place for it would be a would be a pool table. In my opinion pool tables belong in every home. I love to play pool/billiards and the game is easy to understand and lean, so there is no reason why everyone should not learn it. The great thing about pool/billiards is that anyone can play it too, from children to senior citizens. It is a game that a father can play with his son, or even a mother with her daughter.
Let’s also not forget the obvious thing that with a nice cover pool tables can be turned into a fabulous serving table, dining room table, or just a place to stack stuff. This is important mostly for guys since it gives a reason to buy one when explaining it to their wife. The reason for this is that pool tables usually have very stylish legs/stands, like this one:
Imagine playing on that, or imagine a nice cover on it. Awesome dining room table. Does your house have a pool table? … It should!
The first post from my new place
I am writing this post in my new apartment. I don’t even have a computer chair, bed, or proper computer desk. My monitor and keyboard +mouse are on a makeshift stool + piece of wood table with my computer on the ground. My bed is an air-matress on the floor. My DVDs are all in boxes since I don’t have my dvd rack yet. My clothes are in a laundry basket since I don’t have anything else to put them in yet (except the closet, but hangers would help).
My living room is completely empty, in fact all the other rooms except my bedroom (and the kitchen) are totally empty. My kitchen has not been cleaned yet so the limited dishes I have which is some plates, cups, bowls, glassware, silverware, some utensils, and one pot is in the middle of my kitchen on the floor. The 2 showers lack curtains.
My garage door is not attached and so you simply just lift the door up to get to my car. No security like no security.
I have no food. I do have 1 opened and 5 un-opened bottles of Powerade.
Hopefully this will all change over the weekend while I move in.
Jamaica is calling, man!
My life has been pretty hectic lately. I have been getting a lot of blog posts in, but that only adds the the chaos. Despite All the hectic stuff though, lately there has been this weird coincidence with Jamaica.
I just saw my first episode of Dr. Who on Sci-fi, and looked up the show on IMDB only to find Natasha Williams who is from Jamaica was in the episode I saw.
Recently with a promotion on Xbox live I was able to download Austin powers for free. It turns out that a song in one of the movies is written by Diana King, also born in Jamaica.
Bored during lunch one day I was watching Sara Mair cook some Jamacian Cuisine on Top Chef.
In a search on IMDB I found Karin Taylor, a former Playboy Playmate who is also from Jamaica. You might also recognize Karin Taylor’s name since she starred on the famous show about beaches called Baywatch. Beaches are of course quite popular in Jamaica.
Surprisingly, Jamaica is a great vacation excuse for movie buffs. In fact, many movies have been filmed in Jamaica.
Jamaica is calling man! I want to go! Who wants to come with me?
Lots of time, lots of posts

If you hadn’t noticed I’ve had a bit of time lately and have been making quite a few posts. This is surely not going to last forever so I am taking advantage of it while I have it available. I realize that content can suffer when you make a lot of posts in a short time though, and for that I apologize.
The whole Tag Cloud thing has really got my attention. While I understand and accept that my site mentions Keira Knightley far to much, I really want to try and get a word that is comparable to it (other than blog that is). Arguably, this is some of the reason I have posted so much lately. Some of the words I am working on are ‘xbox 360′ and ‘car’ since at least in my mind I think my blog should contain those words fairly often.
Also, as the summer winds down, I really am trying to do more paid posts so that come the end of September I will get a nice compliment to my reduced income due to me working less and going to school more. I am doing 1 non-paid post and 1 paid=post, 1 non-paid, 1 paid, etc… on a pretty regular basis and it will continue like that for a little while. For that, I apologize.
It’s actually still August 28th according to my clock, so on that note I should make at least 3 posts tomorrow, the 29th. I hope all of my readers have some time to read all of my new posts.
Keira on your phone, thanks to Cellfish
Keira Knightley is the background on my work computer nearly 100% of the time (At home my background is less important since I don’t have dual monitors and barely see it). This got me thinking…Why not put her as the background of my phone! I would somehow need to get the picture into my phone. Thank to Cellfish (a place where you can upload images and Download Ringtones and Images to your cellular phone), this is possible. In fact you can put Keira Knightley as the background to your phone as well.

Also, for those of you that are cool enough, you can even upload video to Cellfish and send that to your phone. I wish my cellular phone had video capability. Cellfish might just convince me to buy a new cellphone! Will it do the same for you?
