This site has been the home to Alex ‘apexad’ Martin since July 2006. It’s gone through so many different changes over the years, and while I won’t go into details of all those changes there are a few that I’ll mention…
One important thing I want to point out is that apexad.net/wallpaper moved to dualmonitorbabes.com which eventually became monitormodels.com (this site is still active and being updated on a fairly regular basis.
Otherwise, a bit about the author of this site…I’m a slightly Keira Knightley obsessed iPhone, Playstation3, and Jeep Liberty owner, and most of the posts will be all about one of those things.
When I first got on the internet, I nicknamed myself ‘TheN64fan’ and that worked well for me until the N64 got old, and I wanted something new. Desperate for a new nickname, I looked around my house. I saw a box for our DVD Player, Apex AD-500. Apex was close to my name and AD 500 just sounded cool. I dropped the 500, and eventually my friend’s dropped the ‘AD’ and just started calling me Apex, but for the most part, I use both ‘apexad’ and ‘Apex’ on the internet now.
So, with that in mind, realize that ‘Apex, post employment, x-cited and determined’ is something I just recently thought up. Perhaps if thing’s worked out slightly different it could have been ‘Almost post employment…’ but I did lose my job, and I’m actively looking for a new one, so it is what it is.
I hope soon I can change it to ‘Apex, part-time employment’, ‘Apex, Phoenix employment’, ‘Apex, proud employment’ or any number of other things, but for right now it’s ‘post employment’, and I’m living with that.
