Ahh! Only $3 left for my 2nd Adsense check.
It’s been 9 months since my last Adsense check, and I just ended April with just about $97.00, only $3.00 short of a second check being sent out. Guess it looks like it will take me 10 months. Still though, that’s a vast improvement over my first check that took me 12 months to get.
I’m not telling you to click on ads, but I am saying once more…They are there for you to look at and *maybe* click on just as much as they’re for me to make a little money to cover my hosting bill, so please don’t be shy.
January 2007 earnings for apexad.net (ups and downs)
In life, there are ups and downs. One could argue that January was the lowest time for my blog.
However, I would argue that for me it was one of the better months. When I was in college I very much depended on the $100 a month I made from my blog. That changed for me, and I no longer depend on the money.
I posted about whatever I wanted and I prepared my posts. I did not take 1 offer from PayPerPost.
Most importantly though, I moved a significant portion of my blog and bringer of traffic to a new site at dualmonitorbabes.com.
Despite all of that, January was great for comments. My readers enjoyed my posts and felt the need to express their opinions. That makes me happier than earning money. It makes me think that turning my blog into mine and not an advertising engine powered by PayPerPost gets results.
On top of that, my earnings did not drop. Yes, there was nothing from PayPerPost, but google adsense and other small contributions were wonderful. I even received some link exchange request this month for the first time in a long time.
I know my good friend Bush Mackel will put up my numbers on his site, and they’ll seem poor, but for me it’s so much more than that. If anything has changed, I’m happy that for the first month ever my site will not have PayPerPost next to it.
Here is the breakdown of my earnings.

Google Adsense - $9.13 Sponsored Review - $15.00 Total - $24.13 |
Side note: This was actually my best month for Google Adsense. Not all of was for my blog though, and it’s not reflected here.
